Accepting these terms

Using QRCodeForPDF means agreeing to what is written here. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

What the service does

You upload a PDF; we store it and give you a QR code that opens it in a browser. The code points at a short link we control, not at the file — so replacing the PDF changes what opens without changing anything already printed.

Your account

You may use the service without one. If you create an account, you are responsible for your credentials and for what happens under it. Tell us if you think someone else has access.

Your content stays yours

You keep every right in the documents you upload. You grant us only what is needed to run the service: to store your file, to serve it to whoever opens your code, and to keep earlier versions so you can roll back.

You are responsible for having the right to publish what you upload. A code is a public door to that document — treat uploading as publishing.

What we will not host

Do not use QRCodeForPDF to distribute:

• Content you have no right to distribute.
• Malware, phishing pages, or anything designed to deceive whoever scans.
• Content that is illegal where you are or where we operate.
• Material that sexually exploits children, incites violence, or harasses a person.

Do not attempt to break the service either — probing for unauthorised access, scripting bulk code creation, or interfering with anyone else's codes.

We remove content that breaks these rules, and we may do so without notice when the harm is immediate. A code whose document we remove stops resolving, including any copy already printed. That is a real cost, which is why it is stated plainly rather than buried.

Codes, plans and what keeps working

• The free plan holds three codes. They do not expire and carry no clock.
• A code made without an account works for two hours, then stops. It is meant for sharing a document now, not for printing. Creating a free account within that time keeps the code permanently, at the same link — nothing has to be regenerated or reprinted. Codes made before 27 August 2026, when this clock was introduced, are not affected by it and are kept permanently.
• A code in an account is never removed for age, scanned or not.
• Replacing a PDF is free on every plan and never changes the printed code.
• If a paid plan lapses while you hold more codes than the free plan covers, your three busiest codes keep resolving and the rest pause until you upgrade again or delete some. Nothing is deleted for lapsing.
• Free codes carry a small QRCodeForPDF mark on the page a scan opens. Pro removes it. Neither plan shows adverts to your scanners, ever.

Availability

We work to keep codes resolving and treat that as the most important thing the service does. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features — with notice where it is reasonable to give it.

Payment and refunds

Paid plans bill in advance for the period you choose. Cancel any time; your codes keep resolving afterwards and only the Pro features switch off. Refunds follow our refund policy: thirty days, no questions asked.

Our own material

The site, its software, its name and its design are ours. These terms give you the right to use the service, not to copy what it is built from.

Ending it

You can close your account whenever you like — that deletes your codes, their documents and their scan history, and the codes stop resolving. We may suspend access for a breach of these terms.

Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using it or from being unable to — including reprinting costs when a code stops working for any reason described above. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
